If we believe, we will learn to love, and if we love we will learn to serve.

–Mother Teresa

“If we believe,”  says Mother Teresa.  If we believe in what exactly?  Is the power of service limited to the Christian platform?  And therefore is “extraordinary living” limited to Christians?  Certainly not.

As my book The Service Driven Life addresses, living in service is a loving commandment at the core of the message of the gospel and at the core of Christianity.

But service, you see, is a common thread that crosses all boundaries and lines of religion and faith and spirituality.  It is a central component in all five major religions (Christian, Hindu, Islam, Buddhist, Judaism); and in every belief system and spiritual discipline of consequence:  Higher Power, Source, Eastern mysticism, New Age, and even agnosticism and atheism.  (Abraham Lincoln, perhaps the best known agnostic, said this:  “When I do good, I feel good.  When I do bad, I feel bad.  That’s all the religion I need.”)

Whether you are faith based or not, whether you are Christian, Hindu, Islam, Buddhist, Jewish,  spiritual source-based, nature-based,  agnostic or atheist; whether  you believe in a power greater than yourself, a God of your understanding, or a Creator or not — the power of service,  and its accompanying fulfillment, worthiness, meaning, and joy, is for you.  And my new book, Extraordinary Living, The Hidden Power that Answers Life’s Most Compelling Question, is for you!  You were made for this!

Release:  March 16, 2016, both e-book down load and hard copy.  If you’d like to be notified when the book is available, feel free to send me an e-mail at:  theservicedrivenlife@gmail.com    In love and in service…
